It's Trustworthy! This means you will find that it is relevant and effective for your life now. Not everything you read will be easy to hear. But you can trust that everything in it was written by people who wrote by the inspiration of God and, that your gracious and loving heavenly Father had you in mind.

It's Authoritative! Opinions come and go. So, if you are looking for something to stand on that is solid - a foundation for faith and life you can build on - you have found it here in God's Word! His has the final and singular word on what truly matters.

It's Grounded in History! It is not a weird collection of stories made up by crazy desert nomads. Both Old and New Testaments can attest to people and places that really existed.

God Speaks Through it! That's why it was written. And although it is not exhaustive, its content it is more than sufficient for us humans to live by. You will hear his voice in every page.

God Reveals Himself in its pages! It is here that we learn who this God of infinite power is and that we can know him and freely worship. You will also find him to be gentle, personal and faithful.

It's Unique! There are 66 books written by over 40 authors and yet it all holds together to tell the story of the covenant God who never gives up on us. You will find narrative, wisdom literature, poetry and prophecy. There is no other book like it!

It Contains the Truth! It is not politically correct! It doesn't need to be. Because Jesus Christ only wants to find you and save you. All real Truth (capital "T") points to him. Only in him will your find both truth and grace.

It Never Gets Old! It still captivates me like no other book. For almost two millennia people have studied it and not been able to exhaust its truth, knowledge, and wisdom. It is beyond what humans can completely understand and yet it is strangely also well within our grasp. I'll say it again, It is remarkable!
